Mille Fleur Satin and Frizzle Silkies
Named for the wildflower-covered hillsides and cottage gardens that inspired our ranch, Hearthwild Millies are our celebration of one of the most beloved and enchanting poultry colors in the world.
The French phrase mille fleur means "a thousand flowers," and it is easy to see why. Each bird is sprinkled with warm golds, rich chestnuts, soft creams, and tiny white-tipped feathers that resemble flower petals scattered across a meadow. Combined with the gentle personalities of Silkies and Satins, these birds look as though they stepped straight from the pages of a fairy tale.
At Clan Wallace Ranch, our focus is on breeding healthy, friendly birds with beautiful color, proper type, and abundant fluff while preserving the whimsical charm that makes Mille Fleurs so beloved.
