The Wildbloom Collection is our signature curated rainbow hatching egg collection here at Clan Wallace Ranch. This developing flock is being thoughtfully selected for colorful egg genetics, beautiful blooms, speckling, hardy birds, and the kind of egg basket variety that makes every carton feel like a little treasure chest from the nest box.

Our Wildbloom eggs may include genetics from F1 and F2 Olive Eggers, pure Welsummers, pure Silverudd Blues, and other carefully selected colorful layers. Our hens are currently covered by both a Welsummer rooster and a Silverudd Blue rooster, bringing strong potential for future layers that produce deeper olive tones, blue and green eggs, earthy browns, blooms, and increased speckling.
We are especially excited about this collection because the offspring have the potential to lay even more dramatic eggs than the ones they hatch from. With Welsummer and Silverudd Blue influence, we are working toward richer speckles, deeper greens, soft sage tones, blues, warm browns, and unique bloom overlays.
Our flocks are raised on organic feed, pasture and produce and free range on our farm.
What May Be Included
Each Wildbloom dozen is hand selected from our colorful laying flock and may include eggs from:
F1 Olive Eggers
F2 Olive Eggers
Pure Welsummers
Pure Silverudd Blues
Other colorful project layers within our developing flock
Because this is a developing designer flock, every dozen will vary slightly. Some cartons may lean more olive and blue, while others may include more peach, brown, cream, bloom, or speckling. That variety is part of what makes Wildbloom special.
The Wildbloom Collection is a developing project flock, so we do not guarantee exact chick color, feather type, comb type, adult appearance, or future egg color. These chicks may grow into a variety of beautiful birds with different patterns, colors, and egg-laying outcomes.
What We Are Selecting For
Our goals with the Wildbloom line include:
Beautiful rainbow egg basket potential
Richer olive tones
Soft sage, blue, and green egg genetics
Warm peach, cream, and earthy brown tones
Heavy blooms and unique overlays
Multicolored speckling
Strong fertility
Hardy, healthy birds
Useful homestead layers with beautiful eggs
This is not a hatchery production mix. It is a carefully developed, small-scale breeding project focused on beauty, vigor, and long-term improvement.

Important Notes
We are currently working toward our NPIP certification. Until that process is complete, our hatching eggs are available for local pickup only in Oroville, CA.
